CE Reimbursement

Any staff member -- professional or para-professional -- of an HLSP library is eligible for a reimbursement for a METRO CE class.

Preference will be given

  • to staff in institutions that don't fully reimburse CE activities,
  • to professional librarians, and
  • for classes that offer MLCL-approved CE credit.

Applications, which can be downloaded from METRO's website (http://www.metro.org/pdfs/CERinbursement.pdf ), will be taken throughout the year and will be reviewed by the HLSP manager and a committee of two HLSP librarians. We will begin accepting applications after the release of the Fall 2001 schedule of METRO classes.

Technology Grants
Applications for technology grants are due on January 15, 2002. The guidelines and application can be downloaded from METRO's website at http://www.metro.org/hosp_technogrants.html.
