2020 Annual Meeting-Trivia & Storytelling Hosts

Matthew Bridgeman (he/him/his) is an Information and Education librarian at the Rutgers University Robert Wood Johnson Library of Health Sciences. Matthew is focusing on the Physician Assistant Program for the School of Health Professions. He teaches Evidence-Based Medicine, data visualization. His interest is in open education resources. He is an avid Beagle fan and enjoys watching old movies, especially Charlie Chaplin and other silent movies. He and his wife welcomed their son Matthew Jr. this past July. Margot Leitman (she/her/hers) is a comedian, writer, and award-winning storyteller from Matawan, NJ. She is the founder of the storytelling program at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre and five time winner of The Moth storyslams, and the winner of The Moth Grandslam, receiving the first ever score of a perfect 10 in NYC. Her first book, Gawky: Tales of an Extra Long Awkward Phase was an Amazon best-seller, and was featured on LA Magazine’s Reading List. Her second book, Long Story Short: The Only Storytelling Guide You’ll Ever Need released on October 2015. She has written for DreamWorks TV, the Hallmark Channel, and the PiXL Network. She worked for “This American Life” as the West Coast story scout. Her stories have been featured on NPR’s “The Moth Podcast,” “Good Food,” “Unfictional,” “Strangers”. She is a frequent contributor to the popular podcast “RISK!”. Margot travels all over the world teaching people to tell their stories.
