The Continuing Education Committee of MLA, New York-New Jersey Chapter announces an upcoming CE program:

Building Medical Vocabulary

  • Build a solid medical vocabulary in a fun-filled, quick-paced environment.
  • Learn to build complex terms and then dissect them with knowledge of prefixes, suffixes, abbreviations, and synonyms.
  • Build a list of print and electronic dictionaries and anatomical atlases.

This course is approved for 6 MLA CE hours.

helen-ann has been a teacher and health sciences librarian for almost 30 years, most recently at the Weill Cornell Medical College. Her expertise includes finding answers to questions, online searching and teaching.
