The Continuing Education Committee of MLA, New York-New Jersey Chapter announces an upcoming CE program:

Government Resources in Consumer Health

  • Gain experience with locating and using government resources for consumer health information.
  • Learn how to do collection development in consumer health by finding resources available at little or no cost.

This course is approved for 4 MLA CE hours.

Katlheen Moeller is also a part-time faculty member at the School of Medicine, Columbia University. Ms. Moeller has published several papers on consumer health information, and is a frequent speaker at MLA and other library conferences. She was a founding member of the Patient and Consumer Health Section of MLA. She was a recipient of the 2003 Health Sciences Librarian of Year Award of HSLANJ.
